This feisty young lady risks her life to save Andrew. The Knights believe that have finally defeated Maligor after ten thousand years of conflict. In an attempt to escape the fanatic red guards seeking revenge for the death of their god, Agmar accidentally releases a monster army: the Kazdoom.

When did you begin your writing journey?

I wrote my first story in 1985. I called it the “Beetlejuice Pirates.’ Once I started, I have hardly stopped.

What is your greatest joy in writing?

I had a young lady come up to me during one of my school visits. She was so excited about getting “The Summoning of the One” that she could hardly speak. She loved “The Princess and the Pirate” so much.

It’s that excitement in my readers that drives me. I also have numerous readers coming up and say they are writing now. This also excites me.

What is the hardest part of writing for you?

Sometimes I get other interests that interfere with my writing. For example, at the moment I’m making bamboo flutes and I’m teaching myself how to play them. I now spend a lot of time learning music and this has cut into my writing time. Never mind, my new project may come and go, but I always seem to keep on writing.

What’s the easiest?

I find it quite easy to imagine what is going to happen in my next chapter. I see it in my mind’s eye and often if it is funny, I can start laughing for no apparent reason to those around me.

What’s next for you? Are you currently working on or have plans for future projects?

I’m currently writing a sequel to “The Knights of Katesch” series. It’s a fantasy/action/ romance and I’m having a lot of fun writing it.
